I've been discussing with a friend about how I view his fighting style and I believe due to his pacifist nature, the Prince would prefer to practice épée as there are less opportunities of close contact. However, he could be well practiced in dodging or blocking sabre or foil fighters as well, though the practice is not his strong point.
